Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of traditional Indian tandoori cooking techniques and be able to prepare a wide range of dishes including kebabs, tandoori rotis, naan, kulchas, and grilled meats. The Tandoor Chef must be committed to quality, hygiene, and consistency in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic tandoori dishes using traditional clay ovens (tandoor).
• Marinate meats and vegetables using appropriate spices and techniques.
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Cook breads like naan, roti, kulcha, and paratha in the tandoor.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the tandoor section.
• Monitor food stock and assist in ordering and inventory control.
• Ensure timely preparation and service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Comply with food safety and sanitation standards as per regulations.
• Innovate and suggest new tandoor-based dishes for the menu.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
• Deep knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and tandoor cooking methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders.
• Strong attention to detail, taste, and presentation.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for long hours and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary training or diploma is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
