We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Commis Chef to support kitchen operations and maintain high standards in food prep and hygiene. You should be comfortable with bulk preparation, work well under pressure, and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in food preparation and maintain high standards of taste, quality, and presentation. Handle bulk prep with consistency, accuracy, and speed to meet service requirements. Manage and maintain cleanliness at your assigned station. Support senior chefs and provide guidance to junior team members when required. Monitor stock, manage portions, and minimize waste to support kitchen efficiency and cost control. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times. Execute kitchen opening/closing duties and follow emergency protocols as trained. Participate in training sessions and team meetings, staying aligned with kitchen goals and procedures. Requirements: Basic kitchen experience or relevant culinary training. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure. Comfortable with bulk prep and maintaining quality at volume. Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Good communication skills and a commitment to professional growth.
