Chef de Partie

We are looking for passionate Chef de Partie who will be preparing food, ensuring quality, supervising junior staff, and maintaining hygiene and inventory for their section. Key responsibilities include coordinating with other chefs, adhering to strict food safety standards, contributing to menu development, and managing their workstation's supplies and cleanliness. Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Food Preparation:
• Prepare ingredients such as chopping, cutting, and portioning.
• Cook and plate dishes according to specific recipes and presentation standards.
• Handle specific types of cuisine or station tasks, like sauces, fish, or desserts.
• Quality Control & Standards:
• Ensure that all dishes meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and overall dish quality.
• Kitchen Management:
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of their specific workstation and equipment.
• Monitor food stock, manage inventory, and place orders for necessary supplies.
• Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and disposal of expired items.
• Hygiene & Safety:
• Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations and standards.
• Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
• Teamwork & Leadership:
• Supervise and train junior chefs, including Commis and Demi-Chef de Parties.
• Collaborate with other Chefs de Partie and senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Provide input and creative ideas for new menu items and recipes.
• Efficiency:
• Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure timely food service.
• Monitor and control food waste to stay within budget.
