About the Role

We are developing a next-generation AI-based Accounting Software at our development center in Kochi, Kerala, aimed at transforming how businesses handle financial operations through intelligent automation and compliance-first design.

To support the product development lifecycle, we are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to work closely with our engineering and product teams. This is a consultative role, focused on guiding the product team with deep domain knowledge in Accounting, General Ledger (GL), and regional financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the product and development teams to provide domain expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial workflows.

Offer clarity and guidance on GL structures, accounting treatments, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

Review and validate accounting logic, workflows, and automation rules built into the platform.

Research and document country-specific accounting practices, beginning with Saudi Arabia, followed by the UAE and India.

Assist in designing workflows for automated journal entries, account reconciliations, trial balance, financial statements, etc.

Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities aligned with modern accounting standards (IFRS, VAT, ZATCA, etc.).

Act as a bridge between functional finance requirements and technical implementation.

Key Requirements

Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Strong understanding of accounting principles, GL structures, and compliance frameworks.

Prior experience working with or advising on accounting software or ERP systems is a strong plus.

Exposure to international accounting practices (especially GCC countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE) is desirable.

Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
