Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
• Analyze financial performance and make recommendations
• Conduct statutory, internal, and forensic audits
• Evaluate internal controls and risk management systems
• Certify the accuracy of financial records
• Prepare and file tax returns (Direct & Indirect Taxes)
• Advise on tax planning and tax-saving strategies
• Represent clients in front of tax authorities
• Create budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist in financial planning for businesses and individuals
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investments
• Offer advice on financing, mergers, and acquisitions
• Ensure adherence to corporate laws and financial regulations (e.g., Companies Act, GST laws)
• Handle regulatory filings and statutory requirements
• Provide strategic business advice
• Assist in business valuations, restructuring, and due diligence
• Analyze cost structures to improve efficiency and profitability
• Set standard costs and conduct variance analysis
• Maintain integrity and professionalism in all engagements
• Ensure accuracy and transparency in financial documents
• Keep up-to-date with changes in laws, standards, and technology
• Maintain confidentiality of client information
• Uphold ethical standards as per the code of conduct laid by governing bodies (e.g., ICAI in India, ICAEW in UK)
• Provide honest and unbiased financial opinions
• Assist organizations in achieving their financial goals
