Chartered Accountant – Audit, Tax & Reporting Lead

Key Responsibilities:

§  End-to-end handling of statutory audits and limited reviews for listed companies and medium-sized enterprises, including planning, execution, and closure.

§  Manage direct and indirect tax compliance across clients – income tax filings, tax audits, TDS, GST returns, and reconciliations.

§  Lead the preparation and review of financial statements as per Schedule III, IND AS/AS, and applicable regulatory frameworks.

§  Ensure compliance with reporting timelines, audit documentation, and quality control for all assignments.

§  Supervise and mentor a team of 3–5 juniors including article assistants and semi-qualified staff.

§  Handle client communications, provide updates, and resolve queries related to audit, tax, and reporting deliverables.

§  Coordinate with senior partners on high-risk areas, escalations, and timelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in audit and compliance, preferably in a CA firm or corporate setting.
• Strong technical understanding of statutory audit, tax filings, GST, IND AS/AS, and company law requirements.
• Prior experience handling multiple clients/projects and leading or reviewing team deliverables.
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a structured, high-accountability environment with room for ownership and growth.
