The Broad Channel Sales team is a dynamic and innovative group located in Mumbai. Known for its collaborative culture, the team is dedicated to building and enhancing Nutanix's Broad Channel sales ecosystem. The mission of this team is to drive growth and revenue through strategic partnerships with distributors and OEMs, focusing on retaining, acquiring, and developing key channel relationships to create a robust partner network
About The Team
You will report to the Head of Distribution and Growth Channels, who is known for his empowering leadership style, fostering an environment of effective communication and collaboration among team members. The work setup for this role is hybrid, requiring the employee to be in the office a few days a week, allowing for flexible arrangements while ensuring team cohesion and engagement.This position requires approximately 30-40% travel, primarily within the West region and occasionally to other locations as needed to engage with partners and stakeholders. The travel will facilitate the building of relationships and the execution of strategies essential for driving channel sales growth.
Your Role
- Identify, recruit, and enable channel partners to enhance the Broad Channel sales ecosystem.
- Develop and implement a robust go-to-market strategy targeting specific verticals and accounts.
- Drive revenue generation through new account acquisitions and partner development.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal sales teams to increase sales effectiveness.
- Engage with distributors to increase traction and create a strong operational cadence.
- Gather market feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance product offerings.
- Ensure compliance and governance are upheld in all channel activities.
- Achieve specified sales targets and establish a strategic partner base within the first year.
What You Will Bring
- 8-15 years of experience in Channel Sales, working with OEMs, distributors, or an Enterprise software/Cloud Services environment.
- Strong ability to identify, recruit, enable, and monetize partnerships within the Broad Channel sales ecosystem.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with sales teams across commercial and public sectors.
- Proficient understanding of partner models, Channel economics, and operational cadence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high level of integrity and compliance awareness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing; MBA is a plus.
- Adept at using partner portal tools and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel (30-40%) and work in a hybrid environment in Mumbai.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
