Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Radiology Coder based in Noida. The Certified Radiology Coder will be responsible for accurately coding radiology procedures and diagnoses based on medical documentation, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. The role involves reviewing and verifying the coding of medical records, generating reports on coding activities, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and participating in coding audits and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnostic and procedural coding systems, such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
• Detailed knowledge of radiology coding guidelines and regulations
• Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy related to radiology
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in verifying medical documentation and coding accuracy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals
• Ability to participate in coding audits and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical billing software
• Credentialed as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Radiology Coder ), or equivalent certification
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field is preferred
