Job Description

Job Summary

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall management, operations, and performance of the Skill Development Training Center. This includes academic delivery, trainee enrollment, staff supervision, industry coordination, compliance, and achieving training and placement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Center Operations & Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the training center
  • Ensure smooth functioning of classrooms, labs, and facilities
  • Maintain discipline, safety, and a positive learning environment
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, government, and funding agency guidelines

Training & Academic Oversight

  • Plan and monitor training schedules and course delivery
  • Ensure trainers deliver high-quality training as per curriculum
  • Monitor trainee attendance, assessments, and certifications
  • Organize assessments, exams, and certification processes

Mobilization & Admissions

  • Lead student mobilization, counseling, and enrollment activities
  • Coordinate with local communities, schools, and partners
  • Ensure achievement of batch formation and enrollment targets

Staff Management

  • Supervise trainers, counselors, and support staff
  • Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and mentoring
  • Ensure staff attendance, discipline, and productivity

Placement & Industry Coordination

  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners
  • Facilitate trainee placements, apprenticeships, or self-employment support
  • Track placement data and post-placement follow-up

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of trainees, attendance, assessments, and placements
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management and funding agencies
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the center in meetings with government bodies, partners, and NGOs
  • Promote the center’s programs and success stories locally

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, Social Work, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred (MBA / MSW / M.Ed)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in skill development, education, or training center management

Experience working with government skill programs (NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, etc.) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
