CCR

Purpose/Objective

Operate, monitor, and optimize the cement mill from the CCR to meet production, quality, energy, and safety targets. Perform realtime parameter adjustments, coordinate with field/maintenance/quality teams, and maintain accurate operational logs for transparency and analytics

Key Responsibilities of Role

a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Process Monitoring & Control - Continuously monitor mill parameters (e.g., feed rate, grinding pressure, separator efficiency, baghouse/filters, product fineness (Blaine), and circulating load) and execute realtime corrections via DCS/CCR - Operate and coordinate auxiliaries (feeders, conveyors, elevator/classifier/SEP, fans, VFDs, dust collection) to sustain throughput and energy efficiency. - Ensure stable mill operation during startup/shutdown/changeover and respond promptly to alarms/trips. 2) Shift Operations & Coordination - Work closely with Cement Mill Incharge, other CCR operators, and field patrollers to ensure smooth shift operations; perform proper shift handovers and maintain transparent, complete logs (events, setpoints, deviations, actions). - Liaise with Quality Lab for sample cadence and corrective actions to keep cement quality within QMS limits. 3) Troubleshooting & Optimization - Identify process upsets (e.g., high vibration, false air, separator imbalance, baghouse DP spikes) and coordinate corrective actions with mechanical/electrical/automation teams to minimize downtime. - Support initiatives on process optimization, energy reduction, and autonomous maintenance with shift patrollers. 4) Safety, Environment & Compliance - Adhere to workpermit/LOTO, PPE, and ISO/QMS/EHS requirements; report hazards and ensure no environmental rule violations (e.g., emissions exceedance). 5) Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Maintain CCR logs, production/quality/energy reports; contribute to SOP improvements and operator standardization

Qualifications and Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or Diploma in Cement Technology). - Experience: Typically 3–7+ years CCR operation, with specific exposure to cement mill operations (VRM/ball mill) - Tools/Systems: Handson with DCS/SCADA, basic PLC interlock awareness; comfort with MS Office for logs/reports
