Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CCM Shift Incharge/Assistant Manager at Kisco Castings India Limited, located in Mandi Gobindgarh. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the continuous casting machine (CCM) operations, ensuring optimal production levels, and managing shift schedules. The role also involves monitoring and maintaining quality standards, coordinating with other departments to streamline production cycles, resolving any technical issues that arise on the floor, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The Shift Incharge/Assistant Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate production logs and reporting to higher management.

Qualifications

• Experience with continuous casting machine (CCM) operations and production management
• Strong technical skills in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, or related fields
• Team management and leadership skills
• Quality control and assurance expertise
• Ability to resolve technical issues and implement process improvements
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools
• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be an advantage
