Y Team Size 6-8 CBRM s Grade AVP/SM Business CBG Department CBGL Sub - Department Location Pan India About Commercial Banking Coverage Group The Commercial Banking Group is responsible for delivering One Axis to clients with a turnover between Rs 10 Cr. to Rs 100 Crs. by offering products & solutions around CA, TD, forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial cards etc. About the Role The Commercial Banking Centre Head leads a team of CBRM s responsible for driving the commercial banking business (Deposits & Cross sell). The Commercial Banking business focuses on business growth in MSME Segment - mainly CA, TD, forex, trade, payments, cash management and tax payments along with retail products like salary, trust services, forex, commercial card etc.
Key Responsibilities - Lead & develop a high-performing team of CBRM s to drive commercial banking business growth
- Achieve targets set for individual products like CA Balances ETB & NTB, Trade Forex, CMS & Cross-sell etc. through effective team leadership & guidance
- Establish and strengthen relations with key customers to enhance relationships and generate sustained business.
- NTB Sourcing - Identify and convert potential customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration
- Deepening the existing relationships by cross selling products of the bank to new and existing customers (PPC Growth), promoting a culture of cross-functional synergy within the team
- Foster a performance-oriented environment that encourages collaboration, innovation & employee motivation
- Interact/ Liaise with various other departments to ensure lead generation for CA, Trade & FX.
- Ensure compliance with due processes and guidelines, promoting a culture of risk awareness and regulatory adherence within the team
- Maintain a healthy portfolio & monitor the depletions ensuring ETB book growth
- Ensure that all staffing requirements of the center are met, and adequate training is given to the staff on the products of the bank, sales processes and various policies of the bank
- Establishing cohesion with Branch Banking teams and ensuring synergy between CBG & BB aimed at boosting growth
Qualifications -
Graduate/ Postgraduate with min of 3-5 yrs of people leadership experience and a total of 7-10 yr experience engaging with sales functions.
Role Proficiencies
In-depth knowledge of financial products & service, including CA, Trade & Forex, enabling the identification of cross-selling and upselling opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Adaptability in navigating complex sales environments & ambiguity
- Good communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills to engage clients, articulate value propositions and take them to closures.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets within stipulated deadlines, ensuring consistent sales performance & growth
- Good networking and relationship building skills
