Cattle Feed Sales & Marketing

As a part of this role, your primary objective will be to create and expand the cattle, poultry, and fish feed business within the designated territory. This will involve collaborating with various stakeholders including farmers, milk collection centers, hatcheries, aquaculture centers, retailers, and dealers. Your responsibilities will include developing the market for cattle, poultry, and fish feed through customer and farmer interactions, as well as expanding the market by acquiring new distributors and customers. You will need to establish a strong foundation by identifying potential cattle farmers, poultry farmers, fish farmers, milk collection centers, and hatcheries. Additionally, conducting competition analysis and evaluating price/product performance for all feed types will be crucial for market growth. Maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the cattle, poultry, and fish farming sectors will be essential to promote products effectively. You will also be required to convert existing customer relations into regular buyers across all feed categories and address customer complaints promptly. Organizing farmer meetings and technical seminars to educate farmers about feed benefits will also be part of your responsibilities. In addition to customer relationship management, you will be responsible for lead conversions across all feed categories and ensuring timely product delivery. Coordinating with the sales coordinator to optimize delivery logistics and collecting data on prospective customers will contribute to the efficiency of operations. Ideal candidates for this role should possess educational qualifications such as a science graduate, LSS, Dairy Diploma, Aquaculture Diploma, MBA, or BSc Agriculture. Additional certifications relevant to sales or feed industry would be preferred. It is expected that candidates have experience in feed sales (cattle, poultry, or fish), feed mills, milk collection centers, hatcheries, aquaculture, or fertilizer/pesticide sales. Candidates within the age range of 21 to 45 years with knowledge of the territory, good communication skills, product knowledge in the cattle, poultry, and fish feed industry, convincing skills, and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply for this full-time position.
