Category Specialist - E-commerce ( Third-Party/Outsourced)

Description:

The IoT Category specialist will have end to end responsibility for the IoT category on OnePlus E-commerce (oneplus.in & OnePlus Store App). This is a high impact role and is central to scaling up the IoT category (OnePlus Audio, Tablets & Wearables) on OnePlus D2C platform. The candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for creative problem-solving with experience in managing large, cross-functional relationships externally and internally. We are looking for a candidate who brings high ownership and commitment to the role.

Reporting Structure

Main responsibilities:

• Define and execute the IoT category strategy for oneplus.in and OnePlus Store App in line with the business goals and objectives
• Optimize inventory management to ensure seamless product availability and prevent stock-outs or overstock scenarios on the platform
• Plan and execute category visibility on the platform along with coordination with marketing team to create compelling customer education and outreach content
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive customer acquisition and conversion along with platform improvements for the IoT category
• Leverage analytics to track category KPIs like sales velocity, inventory turnover and customer acquisition metrics.

What do we expect from you?

• MBA or any graduate is preferred.
• Work experience between 2 to 5 years.
• Preferred experience in an e-commerce or internet company in a sales or category management (preferably IoT or similar) or operations management
• Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities and excellent communication capability.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills and the ability to generate and present in-depth analysis
• Innovative with a high desire to embrace change in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• A positive attitude, eager to learn and a belief in working and winning with teams!
