This role is for one of Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2200000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 22-30 LPA) Min Experience: 10 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time About the Role We are looking for a visionary and performance-driven Head of Ecommerce to lead and scale our digital commerce initiatives for a fast-growing women's apparel brand. This is a strategic leadership role where you will be responsible for defining and executing the brand's ecommerce growth strategy across both Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels and online marketplaces (such as Myntra, Amazon, Ajio, Flipkart, Nykaa Fashion, etc.). As the Ecommerce Head, you will own the full funnel from digital merchandising, conversion, and user experience, to customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, operations, and product teams to ensure a seamless and delightful customer journey. Key Responsibilities Ecommerce Strategy & Ownership Develop and lead the end-to-end ecommerce strategy across D2C website and all relevant online marketplaces, aligning with brand goals and growth targets. D2C Channel Leadership Optimize the brand's owned website for user experience, conversion, retention, and average order value. Drive innovation in UX, loyalty programs, and personalization to deliver a premium online shopping experience. Marketplace Channel Growth Drive revenue and visibility across marketplaces by managing listings, pricing, content, advertising, and promotions. Build relationships with platform account managers and drive collaborative growth plans. Performance and Growth Marketing Partner with the marketing team to design and implement performance campaigns that drive high ROAS across Google, Meta, and affiliate channels. Own ecommerce KPIs CAC, LTV, conversion rate, and AOV. Strategic Planning & Forecasting Forecast ecommerce demand and revenue across all platforms. Lead category planning, inventory alignment, and pricing strategy in line with market trends and seasonality. Tech & Product Collaboration Collaborate with web developers and tech vendors to enhance platform capabilities including SEO, speed, CRM integrations, and mobile responsiveness. Team Leadership Build and manage a high-performing ecommerce team from content to digital merchandising and customer support. Analytics & Insights Drive data-backed decision-making through strong command over ecommerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify/Unicommerce dashboards, etc.) and customer data insights. Key Qualifications 10+ years of experience in ecommerce, preferably in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle D2C brands. Proven success in managing both D2C and marketplace ecommerce with a deep understanding of platform dynamics. Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce. Strong knowledge of growth metrics, digital marketing, funnel optimization, and consumer behavior. Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth startup or D2C environments preferred.

Marketplace & CRM Management Collaborate with the Marketplace team (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) to maintain brand consistency. Ensure accurate synchronization of inventory, pricing, and promotions across marketplaces. Use Zoho CRM (or equivalent) to track customer interactions, monitor pipelines, and measure marketing effectiveness. 5. Analytics & Customer Insights Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Shopify Analytics to monitor user behavior. Analyze and report key eCommerce metrics (Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, AOV, LTV, etc.). Use data insights to drive customer retention and increase customer lifetime value. 6. SEO & Content Strategy Optimize website content, product descriptions, and landing pages using SEO best practices. Leverage SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console) to track and improve organic search rankings. Implement technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies. 7. Reporting & Performance Tracking Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to senior leadership. Monitor data across Shopify, Google Analytics, ad platforms, and CRM to identify trends and growth opportunities. Continuously analyze, refine, and optimize digital commerce strategies for improved outcomes.
