Category Manager

As part of the Purchasing Team at O!Save, your role will involve developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans that focus on cost savings, quality standards, and consistent supply. You will be responsible for building and managing a targeted assortment of products aligned with Hard Discount principles, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and establishing strong relationships with both local and international partners. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and launching O!Save's private label products while ensuring product quality through hands-on testing, supplier audits, and resolving any quality challenges that may arise. To excel in this role, you should bring 5-10 years of experience in retail purchasing or food-related buying, with a proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization. Strong analytical skills will be essential for assessing product performance and making data-driven purchasing decisions. Your willingness to visit plants and production facilities to uphold quality standards and your flexibility to work in the Distribution Center in Taytay Rizal, Philippines, and travel to supplier locations when necessary will be key to your success.
