As a member of the Purchasing Team at O!Save, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans to ensure cost savings, maintain quality standards, and ensure a consistent supply of essential products to our local communities. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans - Building and managing a targeted assortment of products in line with Hard Discount principles - Negotiating contracts with suppliers and fostering strong relationships with both local and international partners - Developing and launching O!Save private label products - Ensuring product quality through hands-on testing, supplier audits, and resolving quality challenges To excel in this role, you should have: - 5-10 years of experience in retail purchasing or food-related buying - Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization - Strong analytical skills to assess product performance and make data-driven purchasing decisions - Willingness to visit plants and production facilities to uphold quality standards - Flexibility to work at our Distribution Center in Taytay Rizal, Philippines, and travel to supplier locations as necessary In return, you will receive: - Competitive salary - Company phone - Company Car with gasoline usage - HMO health insurance - 15 days of vacation leave and 15 days of sick leave - Relocation support - The opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company that is reshaping the retail landscape in the Philippines and expanding across Southeast Asia.,
