Category Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage women's wear and kids' wear categories, ensuring effective merchandising strategies to drive sales growth.
  
• Develop and implement category plans, including buying guidelines, inventory management, and visual merchandising standards.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of retail operations, PNL management, and profitability targets.
  
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
  
• Oversee product development processes from concept to delivery, ensuring timely launches and quality control.

• 7-12 years of experience in apparel industry with expertise in Category Management (women's wear & kids' wear).

• Strong understanding of buying principles, inventory management techniques, and visual merchandising best practices.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders across various functions.

• Ability to analyze data-driven insights to optimize performance metrics such as P&L management.
