Daymart Group is a fast-growing supermarket and hypermarket chain committed to delivering quality products and an excellent customer experience. We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – Household & Kitchen Equipment (HKE) to lead and grow our HKE category across stores.

Job Summary

The Category Manager – HKE will be responsible for managing the complete operations of the Household & Kitchen Equipment category, including sales performance, inventory planning, merchandising, vendor coordination, and team supervision. The role focuses on driving category growth, ensuring stock availability, and maintaining high presentation and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of the Household & Kitchen Equipment (HKE) category.
• Plan and achieve category sales targets and improve profitability.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, and control slow-moving or dead stock.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors for pricing, new products, and promotions.
• Ensure proper product display, planograms, and visual merchandising standards.
• Supervise, guide, and train category staff to improve performance and customer service.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and product-related concerns effectively.
• Track category performance through reports and share updates with store management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, preferably in Household, Kitchenware, or FMCG categories.
• Prior experience as Category Supervisor, Category Manager, or Department Head is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, pricing, and retail operations.
• Good leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems, POS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supermarket or hypermarket formats.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
