Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Category Manager in the FMCG/ Sea food sector, located in Chennai. The Category Manager will oversee the product category to optimize sales and profitability, analyze market trends and consumer demands, manage procurement and supply chain logistics, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. The role also involves coordinating with the sales team to develop strategies for product promotion and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Any degree
• Experience in Category Management and Procurement / exports and imports.
• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret market data
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and managing supplier relationships National / International level
• Sales experience, including developing strategies for product promotion
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Experience in the FMCG / Retail / Sead food sector is a plus
