Key Responsibilities Operate POS system to process sales quickly and accurately Accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, vouchers, or gift cards Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change as required Redeem coupons, discounts, and loyalty points Customer Service Greet customers warmly and assist with queries at checkout Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints professionally Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, or add-on products Cash & POS Management Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile at shift start/end Perform cash drops and follow company cash-handling policies Ensure POS system is updated with correct prices, discounts, and stock codes Store Support Keep checkout area clean, organized, and presentable Assist with bagging, packaging, or gift wrapping Support stock replenishment near checkout counters Compliance & Security Follow safety, security, and anti-theft procedures Adhere to company policies for cash handling and customer data Prior experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer knowledge Strong math and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure PSpeed of checkout process Customer satisfaction at billing counter Minimal cash/POS discrepancies ositive attitude and customer-first mindset
