Cash Handling:Handle cash, checks, credit cards, and vouchers, ensure correct pricing, give correct change, and issue receipts. Merchandise Handling:Bag or wrap customer purchases, process returns and exchanges, and assist with basic stocking or inventory tasks. Cash Drawer Management:Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy. Store Maintenance:Keep the checkout area clean and organized. Promotional Activities:Inform customers about store promotions, assist with loyalty programs or credit card sign-ups. Teamwork:Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient store operations and support other areas as needed.
