Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Cashier with our client in Guwahati.

Responsibilities:

Regular Tasks-

• Processing payments (cash, credit cards, etc.), issuing receipts, refunds, and changes.
• Ensuring accurate weighing, gst, tagging, and pricing of jewelery items.
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and the end of the shift
• Ensuring the security and accuracy of cash handling and transactions.
• Follow company protocols for handling cash, gold transactions and high value payments
• Ensure proper documentation for high-value jewellery purchases(Pan Card,etc)
• Assisting with store merchandising and stocking, as needed.
• Balancing cash drawers, reconciling transactions, and preparing daily reports.
• Ability to handle transactions and records with accuracy and precision.
• Strong Mathematical and accounting skills for handling transactions

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce is preferred.
• Proven experience as a cashier.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and also to handle pressure during peak hours and festival seasons
