Job Description

As a Career Services Manager at Saras, you play a critical role in supporting students" transition from education to employment. Your responsibilities include developing relationships with global industry professionals and employers, assisting students with job search strategies, resume writing, and interview skills, and organizing career development workshops and events. You will also monitor and report on students" career outcomes, provide support to alumni, and collaborate with faculty to integrate career development into the student experience. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage relationships with global industry professionals and employers to create job and internship opportunities for students. - Assist students with job search strategies, resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview skills. - Identify paid internship and Capstone project opportunities in US-based companies for learners. - Drive the development of a Career Portal as a centralized platform for career opportunities. - Design and implement career development workshops and events tailored to online learners" needs. - Organize career fairs, networking events, and guest speaker sessions to connect students with industry leaders. - Monitor and report on students" career outcomes and track job placement rates. - Provide ongoing support to alumni for career advancement and professional development. - Collaborate with faculty and other departments to integrate career development into the student experience. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline. - 5-10 years of experience in career services, human resources, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of career progression, job search strategies, and global employment trends. - Experience working across various industries and establishing partnerships with global organizations. - Background in recruitment or HR roles is beneficial. - Experience in organizing career fairs, workshops, and networking events. Essential Skills: - Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and negotiate terms effectively. - Networking and Relationship Building: Skilled in developing long-term partnerships. - Strategic Planning and Organizational Skills: Ability to develop long-term plans for enhancing career services. - Understanding of Industry Insights and Job Markets: Knowledge of current employment trends. - Technology Proficiency: Experience with career management systems and CRM software. - Empathy and Student-Centric Approach: Focused on achieving successful placements. - Resilience and Persistence: Ability to overcome challenges and secure valuable partnerships.,
