As a Career Services Manager at Saras, you play a crucial role in facilitating the transition of students from education to employment. Your primary responsibilities include: - Developing and managing relationships with industry professionals and employers to create job and internship opportunities for students. - Assisting students with job search strategies, resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview skills. - Identifying paid internship and Capstone project opportunities in US-based companies for learners. - Driving the development of a Career Portal for students to access career opportunities. - Designing and implementing career development workshops and events tailored to online learners" needs. - Organizing career fairs, networking events, and guest speaker sessions to connect students with industry leaders. - Monitoring and reporting on students" career outcomes and job placement rates. - Providing ongoing support to alumni for career advancement and professional development. - Collaborating with faculty and other departments to integrate career development into the student experience. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in fields like Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline. - 5-10 years of experience in career services, human resources, or a related field. - Strong knowledge of career progression, job search strategies, and global employment trends. - Experience in working with diverse industries and establishing partnerships with global organizations. - Background in recruitment or HR roles can be beneficial.
