Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future workforce needs
  • Partner with clinical and non-clinical leadership to understand staffing requirements, skill gaps, and hiring priorities
  • Forecast hiring needs based on growth plans, turnover trends, and regulatory requirements

End-to-End Hiring Management

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management
  • Manage hiring for clinical roles (physicians, nurses, allied health professionals) and non-clinical roles
  • Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality and compliance

Sourcing & Branding

  • Build strong talent pipelines through job boards, professional networks, referrals, campus hiring, and healthcare associations
  • Strengthen branding to position the organization as an employer of choice in healthcare
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hiring initiatives

Compliance & Credentialing

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and accreditation standards
  • Coordinate background checks, license verification, credentialing, and onboarding documentation
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the talent acquisition team
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and leadership
  • Manage recruitment vendors, agencies, and external partners

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, turnover)
  • Optimize hiring processes using data and best practices
  • Implement technology and systems (ATS, HRIS) to improve recruitment efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
  • 6–10 years of progressive recruitment experience, with at least 3–5 years in healthcare recruitment
  • Proven experience managing high-volume and specialized clinical hiring
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare labor laws, credentialing, and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR)
  • Experience in hospitals, healthcare systems, or multi-location healthcare organizations
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR analytics tool
