Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Café and Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring prompt and courteous service
Supervise and support waitstaff, ensuring adherence to service standards
Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely food and beverage delivery
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Train new team members and conduct regular briefings
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards
Record orders accurately in the POS system and oversee billing procedures

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Captain or Supervisor in a café or restaurant
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Micros, Petpooja)
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
