Required experience & competencies Qualified Actuary from one of the following institutes - Institute of Actuaries of India, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, Society of Actuaries, US, Casualty Actuarial Society, US Pricing experience of at least 5 years, and total experience of 10+ years, who knows, and is known, to key decision makers in the local market A senior professional with an established track record and credibility in the local insurance market A strong understanding of the Reinsurance market and good technical knowledge of the India market Proven practical experience in Pricing and Products A self-starter with the right cultural attributes to enhance SCOR s reputation in the market Technical experience as a qualified Actuary and proven key financial and commercial skills Extensive exposure to external stakeholder management (clients, brokers, regulators) and experience of interfacing with internal stakeholders. Ability to work in a small client-oriented team and collaborate to optimize SCOR s position Good ability to make presentation on local & regional level Experience of working in a matrix structure would be advantageous (there will be linkages to members of the regional and divisional Pricing teams within SCOR) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent analytical skills Innovative, Self-motivated, Team player Key duties and responsibilities As the Pricing Lead for L&H India , you are expected to lead the Indian pricing and product development initiatives and proactively engage with all internal stakeholders. At the same time you will benefit from the Divisional team s expertise in pricing and product development across other Asian markets and from SCOR s leading R&D Centres in medical Underwriting and Life insurance risks. You will also contribute to the development and support the implementation of strategic initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation for SCOR India L&H business. You will provide support to senior leadership team to identify opportunities, develop strategic plans, and execute initiatives that align with the companys long-term goals. The main responsibilities of the role are as follows: Pricing new reinsurance quotation requests in the Indian market across the whole range of Life insurance risks (Mortality, PA, Health, Critical Illness), adhering to SCOR s pricing and underwriting guidelines, and other governance frameworks and meeting client deadlines Research on and develop the Indian pricing basis across all lines of business, improving the quality of actuarial assumptions and supporting competitive quotations Development of product enhancements tailored to the Indian market, providing innovative support to the market managers Coordination with divisional risk management and actuarial teams on business referrals Support marketing activities and external communication via presentations, client training etc. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends to drive growth and innovation Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives To prepare and review treaties / addenda / and other reinsurance contracts where necessary Monitoring and management of capital requirements and assist in developing capital management solutions for clients Provide technical support on experience analysis where necessary

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1. Ensure adherence to the various guidelines concerning credit controls, marketing schemes spent effectiveness / deployment, debtor s management, Zonal expense monitoring and control. 2.
