Role Overview

This role sits at the center of warehouse expansion and investment decisions. The Capex Senior Manager will take ownership of capital planning and execution across warehouse operations, from layout design and automation to vendor negotiations and cost control. It s a senior position, meant for someone who has already seen large-scale warehouse setups grow and knows what works on the ground, not just on paper.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capital expenditure planning for warehouse operations, including new setups, expansions, and major upgrades.


• Work closely with operations teams to understand space, manpower, and automation requirements before finalizing investments.


• Prepare capex budgets, feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for management review.


• Handle vendor identification, negotiations, contracts, and commercial terms for equipment, infrastructure, and services.


• Track capex utilization and ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines.


• Coordinate with finance and accounts teams to ensure compliance, documentation, and proper capitalization of assets.


• Support continuous improvement by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end warehouse operations, preferably within e-commerce or retail environments.


• Solid understanding of accounts, commercial negotiations, and cost structures related to warehousing capex.


• Proven ability to manage large investments and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.


• Practical mindset with attention to detail, especially when evaluating long-term operational impact.


• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume warehouse setups.
