SUMMARY
As part of the Capacity Building unit, the Associate will play a key role in the end-to-end development and execution of AI Skilling initiatives. They will work closely with donors, training partners, and beneficiaries to ensure high-quality, contextualised learning experiences for civil servants, policymakers, last-mile workers, rural communities, and youth across India.. The associate, in their role, will be able to develop project management, program design, stakeholder management, content development, and fundraising support as a skillset. They will be able to contribute to technology-driven impact, especially in low-resource settings.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the design and implementation of AI skilling programs tailored for diverse cohorts that include policymakers at multilateral and government institutions as well as beneficiaries from rural and underserved populations
Assist in drafting grant proposals, concept notes and donor communication materials
Aid in the project management and delivery of various capacity building initiatives that include the management of project timelines, budgets, and coordination with internal teams, partner organizations, and stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery
Manage and track project milestones, reporting requirements, and impact metrics
Contribute to training content development and localisation for diverse learner profiles
Liase between instructional designers, product teams and AI teams to integrate real-world applications of AI into relevant training programs
Represent Wadhwani AI’s Capacity Building unit in workshops, donor meetings, and community interactions
Assist in facilitation of training workshops and take ownership of training sessions along with co-facilitators while monitoring participant interactions, questions and feedback after the session
REQUIREMENTS
Empathy and cultural sensitivity towards underserved communities
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, development studies, public policy, social sciences or a related field
One year of relevant work experience in community development, ed-tech, classroom education, skilling or skill development programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English; fluency in Hindi for verbal communication with stakeholders and beneficiaries is mandatory
Strong project management skills; ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple stakeholders
Ability to store, manage and analyse data using Excel and create dashboards on Excel
Good to have:
Exposure to AI, digital literacy, technology for development programs
Experience working in rural environments, especially in education and skilling domains
Understanding of instructional design or curriculum development is a plus
Demonstrated ability to write grant proposals, reports, and communication material for funders
