Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Cake Chef / Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for detail, and experience in making a variety of cakes and desserts. You will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting high-quality cakes for retail or custom orders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts according to recipes. Design and decorate cakes for special occasions including birthdays, weddings, and events. Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders when necessary. Ensure all baked goods meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area according to food safety standards. Innovate and develop new cake flavors and designs based on trends and customer preferences. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedure Requirements: Proven experience as a cake chef, baker, or pastry chef. Knowledge of baking techniques and cake decoration (fondant, icing, piping, etc.). Creativity and artistic ability in cake presentation. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or flexible shifts.
