Cad Engineer - PDM

Job Title: CAD Engineer - PDM

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with expertise in Product Data Management (PDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a automotive design and be proficient in managing and tracking engineering changes, with a strong understanding of relevant PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge and experience in Smaragd/NX or similar PLM tools to manage product data.
• Document variant-based code-rule BOM and manage engineering changes efficiently.
• Apply general automotive knowledge across multiple domains, with a focus on Owner’s Manuals.
• Handle multiple work tasks simultaneously while ensuring timely deliveries.
• Utilize Microsoft Office skills, with a proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint tools.
  

Essential Skills

• Knowledge and experience in Smaragd/NX or similar PLM tools.
• Experience in Product Data Management (PDM).
• Ability to document variant-based code-rule BOM.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Management systems.
• General automotive knowledge in most domains.
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of experience in automotive design and product data management.
• Proficiency in managing and tracking engineering changes.
• Knowledge of the German language is an added advantage.
  

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and task-oriented, with the use of advanced PLM tools and a focus on automotive domains. The role requires multitasking with a commitment to timely deliveries, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
