CAD Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CAD Engineer with at least 1 year of professional experience using Fusion 360 software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing precise technical drawings and 3D models to support our design and engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, production staff, and project managers to ensure that all design outputs meet quality standards, technical requirements, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update 2D and 3D CAD models, layouts, and detailed technical drawings using Fusion 360 and other CAD tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate conceptual ideas into accurate CAD documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety guidelines, and company specifications.
• Participate in prototype development and design reviews, integrating feedback efficiently into design iterations.
• Maintain and organize CAD data and drawings using proper documentation and version control systems.
• Support design optimization and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance manufacturability, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work cross-functionally with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and associated technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in CAD drafting or design engineering.
• Proficiency in Fusion 360; knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or other CAD software is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and engineering drawing standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,236.85 - ₹20,000.00 per month
