Responsibilities Design, configure, and deploy secure site-to-site VPNs to transmit video data to Preventai’s cloud or edge analytics nodes Set up and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches with attention to routing, security, and traffic prioritization (QoS) Optimize transmission of high-resolution video feeds using RTSP, RTMP, SRT, and HLS protocols Integrate with existing IP cameras, NVRs, and VMS platforms while adapting to legacy hardware constraints Configure long-range wireless connections (P2P and P2MP) where physical cabling is not viable Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks across the entire video pipeline—from camera to end destination Document configurations and network topologies to support scalability and operational handover Required Skills Advanced Networking : Deep knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, and firewall configurations (preferred: MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cisco) QoS Implementation : Practical experience ensuring bandwidth prioritization for video transmission Streaming Protocols & Codecs : Strong command of RTSP, RTMP, SRT, HLS and H.264/H.265 codecs VPN & Security : Track record of deploying secure site-to-site VPN tunnels and managing encrypted video transport Wireless Infrastructure : Hands-on experience with deploying and managing P2P and P2MP wireless bridge solutions CCTV System Integration : Solid understanding of IP camera systems, NVRs, and VMS platforms (e.g., Milestone, Axis, Dahua) Troubleshooting : Strong diagnostic skills across video, networking, and infrastructure layers Nice to Have Experience working with edge computing devices or local AI appliances Familiarity with remote device monitoring tools and VPN orchestration platforms Understanding of data privacy, encryption standards, and GDPR compliance in video surveillance Situated or can move to Bangalore What We Offer Work in a high-impact role within a Swedish funded AI company Direct influence on how cutting-edge AI systems are deployed across real-world infrastructures Access to a highly technical team with expertise in AI, computer vision, and systems engineering Competitive compensation and benefits Remote-first setup with occasional on-site fieldwork Opportunity to define and scale infrastructure practices from the ground up How to Apply Send your CV, project references, and any documentation relevant to past CCTV or network integration work.
