Buyer-Civil/Structure

As a Buyer Civil & Structural, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement activities for civil and structural packages for a high-impact Gas-to-Power (G2P) project in Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing end-to-end procurement for civil and structural packages in alignment with project schedules and budgets. - Sourcing and developing a reliable vendor base for civil and structural materials and services locally and internationally. - Conducting market research and benchmarking to ensure cost-effective procurement. - Floating RFQs, evaluating commercial offers, and coordinating with engineering for technical bid evaluations. - Negotiating pricing, delivery timelines, and commercial terms with vendors. - Issuing and managing Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure timely approvals and releases. - Coordinating with logistics and site teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply chain issues. - Monitoring vendor performance and maintaining procurement documentation in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). - Supporting vendor prequalification and development initiatives. - Collaborating with Engineering, QA/QC, Contracts, and Construction teams for seamless execution. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent. - 3-6 years of procurement experience in EPC projects, preferably in the power or oil & gas sector. - Strong understanding of civil and structural materials, specifications, and sourcing strategies. - Exposure to procurement for infrastructure or industrial projects. - Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba). - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Attributes: - Experience working in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries. - Knowledge of Saudi Aramco/SEC procurement standards (if applicable). - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment. - Willingness to travel or be stationed at project sites or vendor locations as needed.,
