Job Summary:

The Apparel Buyer is responsible for developing and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth. This role involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis. The Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assortment Planning: Create and manage a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.* Buying Decisions: Make data-driven purchasing choices, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain strong vendor relationships.* Pricing Strategy: Develop competitive pricing models in line with market trends and company financial goals.* Sales Analysis: Regularly review sales data, adjust strategies, and report findings to senior management.* Trend Forecasting: Collaborate with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.* Budget Management: Oversee the buying budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.* 3-5 years of apparel buying experience in retail.* Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.* Proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
