Business Unit (BU) Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic leadership:

  Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets for the orthopedic and gynecology segments.

• Business growth:

  Identify new business opportunities, drive market development activities, and lead new product launches to expand the portfolio.

• Financial management:

  Take full ownership of the business unit's P&L, including creating annual financial targets, managing budgets, and controlling costs.

• Sales and marketing oversight:

  Lead and guide the sales and product teams to implement strong go-to-market strategies, sales tactics, and marketing campaigns.

• Team leadership:

  Recruit, train, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of sales managers, marketing managers, and medical representatives.

• Key stakeholder relations:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, distributors, and other strategic partners.

• Market analysis:

  Conduct in-depth market analysis, including competitive benchmarking and customer insights, to inform business strategy and product development.

• Operational excellence:

  Drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and streamline business processes.

• Cross-functional collaboration:

  Work closely with other internal departments, such as Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain Management, to ensure cohesive execution of plans.

  Strong team-building and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.

  Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Domain knowledge:

  A deep understanding of the orthopedic and gynecology therapy areas, including products, markets, customers, and key trends.

• Compliance expertise:

  Proven ability to navigate regulatory environments and ensure adherence to industry norms and laws.

• Adaptability:

  The ability to thrive and innovate in a fast-paced, competitive market.

Education and Qualifications:

• Experience:

  A proven track record of success in a

  leadership capacity

  currently handling Ortho / Gynaec therapy in the pharmaceutical sector, with several years of increasing experience in commercial, operations, business management and marketing

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and post-graduation in business administration, management, or marketing is often preferred.
