Job Description

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to act as a trusted partner between IT and the business. The BRM will play a pivotal role in aligning technology initiatives with business priorities, enabling value delivery, and ensuring IT is a proactive partner in shaping outcomes.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can bring clarity and structure to complex situations. The ideal candidate is adept at managing diverse and demanding stakeholders, influencing without direct authority, and helping drive transformation across both business and IT.
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, cultivating strong, trusted partnerships.
  • Shape, capture, and prioritize business demand while aligning initiatives with organizational strategy and value outcomes.
  • Facilitate portfolio discussions, balancing competing priorities in an evolving environment.
  • Translate business needs into clear IT initiatives, ensuring shared understanding of scope, impact, and value.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, proactively address concerns, and manage expectations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Introduce structure and governance to support consistent demand intake, project alignment, and value realization.
  • Champion collaboration across IT and business teams to drive efficiency, growth, and innovation.
  • Support transformation initiatives by helping teams adapt to new processes, tools, and ways of working.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a BRM, IT Business Partner, or in a similar IT business engagement role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of building influence and trust in complex organizational settings.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities, foster alignment, and drive results in evolving environments.
  • Solid understanding of IT portfolio management, demand management, and governance practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically, bridging high-level vision with practical execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BRMP, CBRM, ITIL, or PMP certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale IT or business transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, portfolio management tools, or similar platforms.
