Business Oversight Compliance VP

Role Overview: As a BUK Business Oversight Compliance Vice President at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in the Leadership team for the COO business. You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of Risk & Control activities across the relevant businesses. Your main focus will be on providing oversight of Conduct risks, advising on rules and regulatory changes in partnership with Legal, and working closely with the BUK COO Compliance Team. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess compliance risks - Investigate potential market abuse - Conduct compliance risk event investigations - Implement compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements - Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure comprehensive compliance and risk management - Oversee potential financial crime activities - Contribute to setting strategies and driving change - Plan resources and budgets - Manage policies and processes - Deliver continuous improvements - Manage risks effectively Qualifications Required: - Hold a Graduate Degree - Possess relevant experience in compliance functions within banks or similar financial institutions - Preferably have experience at Global Off-shoring Centres/Regulatory Compliance roles - Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at a senior level - Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities - Extensive experience in senior-level risk management - Understanding of new technologies and data usage in retail banking organizations - Innovative self-starter with a positive and influential style Additional Company Details: This role is based in the Noida office.,
