A business lead with over eight years of experience with Syndigo and Riversand specializes in implementing Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. This role involves acting as a strategic consultant, technical leader, and project manager for clients using Syndigo's suite of products, which includes the technology acquired from Riversand. 

Key responsibilities

A business lead in this area would typically be responsible for:

PIM/MDM implementation and strategy: Leading the full lifecycle of Syndigo/Riversand implementation projects. This includes strategy, business case development, process optimization, and technical delivery.

Client engagement: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients. This includes gathering business requirements, managing expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Data modeling and governance: Designing and implementing data models, governance policies, and data quality frameworks. The goal is to establish a "single source of data truth" for an organization.

Team leadership: Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and developers working on the implementation team.

Technical solutioning: Overseeing the technical architecture and delivery of the solution. This includes managing integrations with other internal and external systems using APIs, Azure Data Factory, and other tools.

Pre-sales and post-sales support: Supporting sales teams with technical expertise during the pre-sales process and ensuring a smooth transition to a support team after implementation. 

Necessary skills and qualifications

A strong candidate for this role would have a combination of business acumen and deep technical expertise:

Extensive Syndigo/Riversand experience: At least three to five years of hands-on experience working directly with the Syndigo/Riversand PIM/MDM platform is often specified.

Leadership and project management: A proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams, manage complex projects, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

MDM and PIM expertise: A deep understanding of MDM and PIM principles, including data quality, governance, workflow management, and product content syndication.

Technical knowledge: Hands-on experience with technical components such as:

API-based integrations

Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services

Scripting languages like Python or JSON

Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps

Problem-solving abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide solutions for business problems.
