As our

Business Intelligence Engineer Tableau - Alteryx

, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing visual analytics solutions using the Alteryx/Tableau platforms. This role involves extraction, transformation, creating interactive and insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and objectives.

What will you do?

Extract information from databases and transform it according to business rules
Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Tableau by transforming raw data into meaningful insight that aid decision- making
Connect Tableau to various data sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based platforms.
Design and implement data extraction and transformation processes for optimal visualization.
Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance and responsiveness.
Document Tableau development processes, data sources, and methodologies.
Conduct testing and validation of Tableau solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Identify and address bottlenecks to enhance the overall user experience and implement error handling mechanisms and address data quality issues.

What are we looking for ?

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Tableau
Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, or Oracle (Advance knowledge required)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Alteryx
Must have experience working on multiple projects with reporting and data visualization background with Tableau and/or Alteryx
Prior work experience in SAP Business Object, TM1 will be a big plus
Capable of managing tasks individually, with minimum supervision
