Business Finance Associate

Job Description

Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and business decision support. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong understanding of financial modeling, business contract structuring, and investment evaluation. Responsibilities: Provide financial expertise and strategic recommendations to support critical business decisions, including: Contract pricing Structuring cash flows in business contracts Working capital optimization Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and capital expenditure projects to support business growth and profitability. Develop and implement robust financial strategies aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term goals. Create, manage, and update financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with relevant departments. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for operational and financial improvement. Work closely with Business, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Production teams to ensure aligned and updated business plans. Leverage data analysis and SQL querying capabilities to derive actionable insights. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: MBA/CA in Finance or related field. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in FP&A or business finance, preferably in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Proficient in SQL for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
