Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and bid on potential projects through Upwork and similar platforms.
  • Write customized proposals based on client requirements and ensure high response rates.
  • Maintain and update profiles on Upwork and other freelance websites.
  • Convert leads into active clients through strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, design) to understand services and offerings.
  • Track and analyze bid performance, lead conversion, and ROI.
  • Maintain CRM records and regularly follow up with prospects.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly in IT services, web/app development, or digital marketing.
  • Minimum 6 months – 2 years experience working on Upwork or similar freelance platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of proposal writing, client communication, and remote client handling.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) is a plus.
