Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities in both government and private sector civil projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, and contractors.
  • Monitor upcoming tenders, RFQs, and RFPs through government portals, industry sources, and private networks.
  • Develop strategies for business expansion, client acquisition, and long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare capability statements, company profiles, and presentations for clients.

Tendering & Bidding

  • Study tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications to assess project scope.
  • Coordinate with estimation, design, procurement, finance, and legal teams for bid preparation.
  • Prepare and submit technical proposals, pre-qualification documents, and financial bids.
  • Conduct cost estimation, rate analysis, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive bidding.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements, contractual terms, and statutory guidelines.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders, results, and bid performance analysis.

Post-Tender & Liaison

  • Follow up with clients/authorities on tender status and clarifications.
  • Support project handover to execution teams after award.
  • Manage registrations, empanelments, and approvals with government departments.
  • Maintain strong liaison with both private developers and government bodies.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes in both Government (CPWD, PWD, NHAI, Railways, PSU, State portals) and Private sector projects.
  • Proficiency in e-tendering portals (CPP, GeM, State e-procurement systems, private tender platforms).
  • Good understanding of BOQ, cost estimation, contract management, and financial evaluation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and handle large volumes of tenders.
  • Strong MS Excel, MS Office, and documentation skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Any Degree / B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
  • 5–12 years of experience in business development & tendering in civil construction industry.
  • Proven track record of securing both government and private sector projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,331.34 - ₹60,000.00 per month
