Role Overview

Business Development & Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute

    go-to-market strategy

    for Pharma AI solutions in global regions (India, USA, UK, EU).
  2. Identify, engage, and build relationships with

    pharma manufacturing companies, CROs, CMOs, and regulatory bodies

    .
  3. Partner with internal product teams to align product positioning with regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, etc.).
  4. Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, demos, proof-of-concept, contract negotiation, and closure.
  5. Build a strong

    partner ecosystem

    (tech alliances, pharma consultants, regulatory advisors).
  6. Track competitor landscape and provide insights to refine product roadmap.
  7. Represent Ai4Pharma.ai at industry events, conferences, and regulatory forums.
  8. Work closely with Marketing team to create

    targeted campaigns, case studies, and regulatory-focused collateral

    .

Key Requirements

  1. Education:

    Graduate/Postgraduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
  2. Experience:

    7+ years in Pharma Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, or selling

    digital/AI/automation solutions

    to the pharma sector.
  3. Strong network in

    pharma companies, CROs/CMOs, and regulatory teams

    .
  4. Demonstrated success in

    enterprise sales

    (deal sizes USD 200K+).
  5. Knowledge of

    AI/ML applications, digital quality management systems (eBMR, LIMS, QMS), and compliance regulations

    .
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  7. Willingness to

    travel internationally (3040%)

    .

KPIs / Success Metrics

  1. Annual sales target achievement (new customer acquisition + renewals).
  2. Revenue generated per region (India, USA, UK, EU).
  3. Number of strategic pharma accounts signed.
  4. Pipeline growth (qualified opportunities).
  5. Customer satisfaction and successful PoC-to-contract conversions.

Compensation & Incentives
