About the Role

We are a Portfolio Management Services (PMS) team within one of India’s leading stock broking companies. Having grown organically through existing clients, we are now scaling through the distributor ecosystem. We seek an ambitious professional who will be based at our Mumbai / Thane Head Office and lead distributor onboarding and engagement across India. The role will focus primarily on strengthening business development and distributor relations, with limited involvement in running small, targeted branding campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Empanel and engage with distributors nationwide, including national distributors, regional IFAs, wealth managers, and RIAs, to expand PMS reach.
  • Build and maintain high-quality long-term distributor relationships to drive consistent inflows and business growth.
  • Conduct PMS presentations, product training, and distributor events/roadshows across India.
  • Collaborate with the PMS investment team to ensure distributors are aligned with fund performance, positioning, and strategy.
  • Track AUM growth, distributor performance, and provide structured MIS/business reports for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and internal compliance in all distributor interactions.
  • Lead small-scale festive branding/communication campaigns to enhance distributor and client engagement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Management, or related fields; MBA / CFA preferred.
  • 5–10 years of experience in AMC / PMS / AIF / Wealth Management sales or distribution development.
  • Proven success in onboarding a wide spectrum of distributors, from large national players to regional IFAs. Some exposure in B2C client marketing would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of PMS product positioning, SEBI regulations, and HNI/UHNI investment behaviour.
  • Excellent networking, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently nationwide for distributor engagement.
