Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving sponsorship and exhibition booth sales for conferences and exhibitions in the packaging industry. Your role will involve developing and executing a sales strategy to meet revenue targets, identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, researching industry trends, preparing sales materials, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Drive sponsorship and exhibition booth sales for conferences and exhibitions focused on the packaging industry. - Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets. - Identify and engage potential clients, including solution providers, technology firms, and packaging suppliers. - Build and maintain strong client relationships with a consultative sales approach. - Research industry trends to tailor proposals and offerings to client needs. - Prepare compelling sales decks, proposals, and custom partnership packages. - Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage client expectations pre- and post-event. - Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure the successful delivery of events. - Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reports using CRM tools. Qualification Required: - Proven experience in driving sponsorship and exhibition booth sales in the packaging industry. - Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. - Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. - Ability to research industry trends and customize sales strategies accordingly. - Proficiency in preparing sales materials and proposals. - Experience in contract negotiation and client management. - Collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with CRM tools for maintaining sales records and pipeline reports.
