Job Description

The GM BD is pivotal in driving the end-to-end acquisition and activation of properties, aligning with organizational growth targets. This leadership role requires exceptional industry knowledge, broker relationships, and strategic negotiation skills to secure high-value property deals and enable seamless integration into operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Property Acquisition

Scout and assess potential properties to align with organizational goals.

Develop and nurture partnerships with brokers and channel partners to expand deal sourcing.

Deal Management & Legal Coordination

Engage with property owners to present proposals, negotiate terms, and close agreements.

Coordinate with legal teams to finalize contracts and manage payments and documentation.

Handover & Activation

Ensure timely handover of properties from landlords.

Collaborate with operations and facilities teams to onboard and activate properties.

Serve as the primary liaison between landlords and facility teams during activation phases.

Process Oversight

Maintain ownership of the entire process from acquisition to property activation.

Implement and adhere to standardized process flows to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Education & Experience

MBA or postgraduate degree highly preferred.

Real estate certification (e.g., property management, brokerage) is a valuable advantage.

Extensive experience in property acquisition, broker management, and transactional negotiations within the real estate sector.

Core Competencies

Strong communication and English-language skills.

Proficiency in data entry and documentation.

Excellent relationship-building with landlords and brokers.

Effective multitasking and time management.

Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.

Capacity for building and nurturing extensive professional networks.
