Business Development Manager - Stock Garments Business

🔍 About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of the garment stock market and can identify, pursue, and close business opportunities both in local Indian markets and overseas. The candidate will be responsible for market surveys, identifying buyers, creating sales strategies, and generating leads for surplus or ready stock apparel.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for stock/surplus garment sales in domestic markets (offline retailers, wholesalers, resellers).
• Conduct local market surveys across Indian cities to understand pricing, demand trends, and competitor activity.
• Develop and manage online outreach and sales strategies for international buyers through platforms like LinkedIn, WhatsApp, B2B portals, and email campaigns.
• Build and manage relationships with buyers, vendors, and resellers.
• Collaborate with the sourcing and warehouse teams to match inventory with market demand.
• Track market trends and prepare regular reports on performance and opportunities.

🎯 Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in garment exports, stock garment sales, or B2B garment trading.
• Strong knowledge of domestic wholesale garment markets and/or international surplus buyers.
• Experience in both offline and online B2B sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel for market surveys and client visits.
