Job Description

Business Development Manager Private Healthcare & D2C Brands

This role demands strong industry relationships, consultative sales skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable drone-logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Acquisition & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and acquire new clients within 

    private healthcare

     (hospitals, labs, pharma distributors) and 

    D2C brands

     (cosmetics, nutraceuticals, specialty foods, premium consumer goods).
  • Develop and execute sector-specific sales strategies to meet revenue and market expansion targets.
  • Pitch Skye Airs drone logistics solutions to CXOs, supply chain heads, and operations leaders.
  1. Solutions & Proposal Development

  • Conduct customer needs analysis and propose integrated drone delivery solutions tailored to operational and logistics requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations, proposals, and commercial models.
  • Coordinate with operations, product, and regulatory teams to design pilot projects and long-term deployments.
  1. Relationship Management

  • Build and manage strong relationships with key accounts to maximize retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients throughout onboarding, deployment, and scaling.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement and ensure customer satisfaction.
  1. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track emerging opportunities in healthcare logistics, D2C supply chains, and hyperlocal deliveries.
  • Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and industry trends to guide product positioning.
  • Provide insights to leadership to shape market strategy and product development.
  1. Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Tech, Compliance, Marketing) to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor performance metrics, SLA adherence, and client-specific KPIs.
  • Support marketing initiatives, case studies, and thought-leadership within the sector.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally in:
    • Healthcare logistics
    • Med-tech/health tech
    • D2C operations or supply chain technology
    • Logistics, mobility, or aviation
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and closing large enterprise deals.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, technology-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiarity with supply chain, last-mile delivery, or logistics operations is a plus.
